30 minutes. Perfect for potty breaks, stretching their legs, sniffing the neighborhood and breaking up a long day. Includes up to 2 dogs.

The Neighborhood Wanderer - $45
45 Minutes. A little more time for dogs who enjoy exploring, need additional exercise or simply aren’t ready to head home yet. Includes up to 2 dogs.

01. Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Silver Streak Pet Care is a registered LLC and operates as a licensed business in Nevada, Clark County, and the jurisdictions we serve. We carry insurance and bonding to help protect our clients, their homes, and their pets while they are in our care.
We believe professional pet care means more than just loving animals, it means taking the steps necessary to provide safe, reliable, and responsible service. Our commitment to professionalism, accountability, and peace of mind allows pet parents to feel confident knowing their pets and homes are cared for by a trusted local business.
03. How long will it take to be contacted after filling out your new client form?
Congrats and thank you for filling out your New Client form. Crystal will will contact you as soon as possible to pair you with a sitter and create your online account. Our goal is to get to everyone within two business hours, though times vary. You can speed up the process by choosing text as your preferred contact method so we can respond in between client visits.
04. What is the cancellation Policy?
SSPC does not offer refunds to original payment method. If you cancel your reservation for any reason with 24 hours notice or more, a 50% credit for non-rendered services will be issued to your account. No credits will be issued with less than 24 hours notice.
Holiday reservations require us to hold limited availability well in advance. For this reason, cancellations made within 10 days of the first scheduled holiday service are not eligible for an account credit.
05. How for in advance should I schedule?
We suggest submitting requests for pet sitting for while you are out of town around a month ahead, and requests for dog walks a week ahead. We always encourage planning as far in advance as possible as our schedules do fill up each day
06. How do I schedule and pay for dog walking and pet sitting?
07. Will you need a key to my house?
We require all clients to utilize lockboxes for us to gain access to the home. You may provide your own lockbox or purchase one from us. If your neighborhood will not allow lockboxes, we ask for two key copies.
08. Are you positive reinforcement?
Absolutely! Crystal, the owner of Silver Streak Pet Care, is Fear Free Certified and incorporates Fear Free practices into all team training. We will not utilize e-collars, prong collars, or any aversive techniques.
09. Is my pet sitter background checked?
Yes! All of our pet care specialists go through a criminal background check as well as a DMV check if transporting your pet.
10. Where do you go for doggie field trips?
Our doggy field trips are designed to give your dog a fun, enriching change of scenery while keeping their safety and comfort our top priority. Depending on your dog’s personality, energy level, and preferences, adventures may include pet-friendly coffee shops, outdoor patios, local parks, scenic areas, and nature outings such as Mount Charleston when weather conditions are appropriate.
We believe enrichment looks different for every dog. Some pups enjoy exploring new smells and sights on a nature adventure, while others may prefer a relaxed outing where they can practice confidence-building skills in a new environment. Every field trip is planned with your dog’s individual needs, comfort level, and safety in mind.
11. What is your payment policy?
Services are not confirmed until full payment has been submitted. All clients are automatically enrolled in AutoPay which will charge the card on the clients account at 11pm the day that we approve the request. Clients may opt-out of AutoPay, however they will be responsible for manually submitting payment upon approval of the request.

Standard holiday rates are charged at 1.5 times the regular service rate and apply during the following periods:

13. Are times guaranteed?
We operate on a two hour window to account for traffic, weather, last minute requests, and other things that come up throughout our day. This means that if the app shows your visit scheduled at noon, we will arrive sometime between 11am and 1pm.
14. What makes Silver Streak Pet Care different from a Wag or Rover sitter?
Wag and Rover have made it easier for pet owners to find caregivers, and there are many wonderful sitters on the platform. However, a marketplace model means the quality of care can vary significantly from one sitter to another. Pet parents may not always know whether a sitter has professional training, experience handling emergencies, proper safety practices, or a true commitment to pet care or whether they are simply looking for a way to make extra money.
