Yes. Silver Streak Pet Care is a registered LLC and operates as a licensed business in Nevada, Clark County, and the jurisdictions we serve. We carry insurance and bonding to help protect our clients, their homes, and their pets while they are in our care.

Congrats and thank you for filling out your New Client form. Crystal will will contact you as soon as possible to pair you with a sitter and create your online account. Our goal is to get to everyone within two business hours, though times vary. You can speed up the process by choosing text as your preferred contact method so we can respond in between client visits. 

At Silver Streak Pet Care, we believe a successful pet care relationship starts with taking the time to truly understand your pets, their routines, and your expectations. Our new client consultation allows us to dedicate time to learning about your pet’s personality, care needs, home environment, and any special instructions before services begin.

A $30 consultation fee is required to schedule your appointment. If we both decide that Silver Streak Pet Care is a good fit and move forward with services, the consultation fee will be credited to your client account. If either party determines that we are not the right fit, the fee is refundable after completion of a brief feedback form.

The consultation fee is non-refundable for client cancellations or no-shows, as appointment time has been reserved specifically for your family.

We charge a 50% cancellation fee if canceling within 24 hours of a dog walk or single drop-in visit, or within 72 hours of an “out of town” stay (live-in care, overnight care, series of drop-in visits). We do not offer any refunds for services canceled within 10 days of a holiday.

We suggest submitting requests for pet sitting for while you are out of town around a month ahead, and requests for dog walks a week ahead. We always encourage planning as far in advance as possible as our schedules do fill up each day

We require all clients to utilize lockboxes for us to gain access to the home. You may provide your own lockbox or purchase one from us. If your neighborhood will not allow lockboxes, we ask for two key copies.

Absolutely! Crystal, the owner of Silver Streak Pet Care, is Fear Free Certified and incorporates Fear Free practices into all team training. We will not utilize e-collars, prong collars, or any aversive techniques.

Yes! All of our pet care specialists go through a criminal background check as well as a DMV check if transporting your pet. 

Our doggy field trips are designed to give your dog a fun, enriching change of scenery while keeping their safety and comfort our top priority. Depending on your dog’s personality, energy level, and preferences, adventures may include pet-friendly coffee shops, outdoor patios, local parks, scenic areas, and nature outings such as Mount Charleston when weather conditions are appropriate.

We believe enrichment looks different for every dog. Some pups enjoy exploring new smells and sights on a nature adventure, while others may prefer a relaxed outing where they can practice confidence-building skills in a new environment. Every field trip is planned with your dog’s individual needs, comfort level, and safety in mind.

Services are not confirmed until full payment has been submitted. All clients are automatically enrolled in AutoPay which will charge the card on the clients account at 11pm the day that we approve the request. Clients may opt-out of AutoPay, however they will be responsible for manually submitting payment upon approval of the request.

We offer pet sitting and dog walking 365 days a year! We charge 1.5x our base service price on all federal holidays, as well as the full week of Christmas and Thanksgiving. Our schedule typically fills up well in advance of major holidays, so we urge you to submit your requests as far in advance as possible. 

We operate on a two hour window to account for traffic, weather, last minute requests, and other things that come up throughout our day. This means that if the app shows your visit scheduled at noon, we will arrive sometime between 11am and 1pm.
